Midi Strategic Area

Perspective.brussels, the Brussels Planning Agency, is responsible for steering the strategic planning of the regeneration of the district around Brussels-Midi railway station, a high-speed train terminal and intermodal hub (train, metro, tram and bus) of national and international importance, for the Brussels-Capital Region. The Midi Master Plan adopted in January 2016 includes measures to strengthen the district’s functional mix and make it a livelier, more pleasant place for local residents, the people of Brussels in general and users of the railway station. It attaches great importance to the redevelopment of public spaces and to improving the intermodal hub.
