Saint-Gilles and Forest Prisons Strategic Area

Perspective.brussels, the Brussels Planning Agency, is studying possibilities for the conversion of the sites of the prisons in Saint-Gilles, Forest and Berkendael, in anticipation of their progressive closure by the federal government between now and 2017-2018.
