The Urban Development Corporation (SAU) has adapted its activities, as project manager (blue triangles) or as facilitator (white triangles), to suit the requirements at each site. These have included the restoration of historic buildings and the appointment of an operator (Hippodrome); the sale of land for the construction of a major hospital complex (Delta); the purchase of a site, clean-up work, the design of a future district and the search for real estate partners (Josaphat); the coordination of public and private partners (Canal); and so on.
