Dismantling, asbestos removal and demolition of the former VRT and RTBF buildings: launch of a public contract
The Urban Development Corporation (sau-msi.brussels) is launching a public service contract for the appointment of a multidisciplinary team for the dismantling, asbestos removal and demolition of the buildings occupied by RTBF and VRT, which they will leave by 2027, on the Mediapark site in Schaerbeek. They total approximately 205,065 m², of which 42,960 m² are in the basement and 162,105 m² above ground. The complete mission will prepare the site for the development of the mediapark.brussels regional programme.
This is a competitive procedure with negotiation that will take place in two phases.
The date for receipt of applications for participation including the ESPD and its annexes is 29 August 2024 at 12 noon.
This assignment consists of four parts:
- Fixed part: thorough knowledge of the assignment and the drafting, submission and follow-up of the permits.
- Conditional part 1: Preparation of the tender documents.
- Conditional part 2: Follow-up, execution control and coordination of the work.
- Conditional part 3: All additional guidance, consultation and/or consultancy assignments in connection with the subject matter of the assignment.
The SAU attaches particular importance to the sustainability of this project, demolitions and constructions, and will be particularly attentive to the circular strategy of the site.
