Competitive tender for architecture for the Citroën Cultural Centre

On Friday 28 April, the Urban Development Corporation (SAU-MSI) of the Brussels-Capital Region has published a call for project designers for the conversion of the Citroën Yser garage next to the Canal in the centre of Brussels.

The SAU-MSI has acquired this iconic building with a view to developing a cultural centre of international stature there in keeping with the ambition of the Brussels-Capital Region. Once converted, it will be home to:

  • a museum of modern and contemporary art (15,000 m2);
  • an architecture centre (10,000 m2);
  • public spaces, open to all, to be used for cultural, educational and recreational functions (10,000 m2).

The budget for the execution of the work is 125,000,000 euros excluding VAT.

The deadline for the receipt of requests to participate is Tuesday 6 June 2017 by 11.00.
