Website, brochure, video and information sessions on the Citroën Cultural Centre

The Urban Development Corporation (SAU-MSI) has launched a website which is completely dedicated to the Citroën Cultural Centre, an ambitious project for the conversion of the Citroën Yser garage, which it has acquired with a view to developing a cultural centre of international stature there in keeping with the ambition of the Brussels-Capital Region: www.citroenculturalcentre.brussels. On the site, the SAU-MSI presents the characteristics of this iconic building, the project’s objectives and partners (the Centre Pompidou, CIVA etc.), current procedures, etc. It will regularly publish news updates there, particularly on the main phases of the project, including the international competitive tender for architecture to be launched in mid-April. Anyone interested in these news updates can subscribe to a newsletter.

Yves Goldstein, the Government’s Project Coordinator for the Citroën Cultural Centre, also presented the ambitions for the Centre to cultural players in Brussels for the first time at a meeting on 8 March. The meeting, at which Goldstein unveiled a video, took place inside the building itself and was attended by several hundred people. On 16 March, he then presented the ambitions to real estate and architecture professionals at MIPIM, the international show held in Cannes every year.

The SAU-MSI has also published a brochure dedicated to the Citroën Cultural Centre, which can be downloaded here.
